In a world where political campaigns and news broadcasts are causing many to be fearful and upset,
my experiences as an empath may offer hope.
As a child I studdddddered terribly, felt petrified of everything, and would often hold my breath hoping to disappear or evaporate completely to end my panic. Empaths are born with every sense organ wide open to the max. When I touch a door nob I taste the metal it’s made of. When I speak with people over the phone, I often smell their perfume. When I look at people, I see indescribable beauty and radiant light. When I listen to music with friends, I always have to turn it down. When I shake hands or sit close by, I feel people’s emotions, and as a child this freaked me out more than anything.
Young Empaths often assume other people’s emotions are about them,
and most folks walk around with a lot of hatred, fear and uncertainty about life.
Many readers may have experienced a similar thing. Eventually I understood through loved ones that other people’s pain was not about me. This is when I felt it was my mission to help people become aware of their emotions and transform them into wonderful possibilities in life.
Unfortunately, it was a long and painful path learning how to do this. My main challenge was how to “not take on” what people were going through. No matter the technique I applied to “protect” myself from what other people were feeling, I would end up in bed for days processing emotions that were so unfamiliar to me I had no idea what hit me.
The greatest protection in life is in fact the opposite
of what our programming would have us do.
As I matured, and worked with Mystics and Masters, I was able to open my heart more to people no matter how much fear I had about taking on their pain. This is when I realized it’s only when we shut down, fear or have adverse feelings toward people that our energy becomes stained with their pain. All negativity about other people arises from our own fears. The only thing that heals fear is love.
Love immediately connects us with our greatest power.
Nothing negative can enter a heart that loves unconditionally.
A concern for people at this stage in 2016 is the level of fear and negativity floating around in the media. Whenever a presidential campaign occurs the energy I see flying around the heads of passers by is off the charts crazy.
If you encounter a candidate you don’t like, a negative co-worker, a dominating authority figure, unpleasant acquaintance,… or a loved one gone wild, it may be difficult to feel love in that moment. In times like these when love is needed most, but apparently out of reach, I offer this fun game.
Color connects us to love and happiness
Everyone loves colors, so splash any negativity with your favorite color. Imagine splashing it all over people in a loving way. Imagine you are giving them a playful gift, helping them to feel happy or regain sanity again. They may or may not change through your imaginary game, but you will feel better.
Shifting from upset to playfulness will immediately transform your energy
and it will keep your life force strong!
Practice “love splashing” people on television while you watch debates or the news. I often splash the news with every color I can imagine.
There’s a lot of love in color
envision people happy again
see them at peace
Imagine hurt people healed
Visualize everyone in the news playing together happily
Choose your palate
Become a kid again
And paint the town pretty
Have fun, and please don’t allow one bit of angst to settle in your system. Keep your color kit in your …
.. imagination wherever you go. Choose your favorite color and paint the world with happy colorful energy.
You can even spice up your love life
purify the oceans
and the sky
Color splashing can turn any doldrum or tough day into your own personal celebration…and like a child, it will keep you focused on the wonder and joy of life.
Where color once divided us, let it bring us together now in love and fun!
