The Impossible Dream

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength,
While Loving someone deeply gives you courage.”

Lao Tzu

The most challenging aspect of doing what I do is meeting beautiful, heart felt, innocent, kind and loving souls only to discover they have been mistreated, abused, unjustly accused, crushed, denied, taken advantage of and traumatized due to no fault of their own. The agony and confusion they feel wondering what they did to deserve such sorrow is heart wrenching.

People may say, “Oh, but we create our own reality.” Yes, this is true, yet there are times when things are completely unexplainable no matter how deeply you look, and those times often point to the most gentle, kind, loving beings on earth who came to a dark place to add more light, to uplift humanity, to make a difference in every way possible. That journey involves understanding what darkness is, how it thinks, how it works, how it feels to be on the other side of it. That pain leads people to the very thing they came here to heal.

Last Saturday I received an unprecedented influx of emails from people searching for answers, beside themselves in agony over severe betrayals, loss, humiliation and the aftermath of abusive situations. I sat in meditation asking for guidance to sooth their broken hearts. Then, out of the blue a very dear friend sent a link to a clip with a song that answered my call. I sent the lyrics to each person who was reeling in anguish and bewilderment and each one replied back with a feeling of awe. A feeling of finally understanding why they are here and what it all means.

If you are reading this post chances are you are also one of the heart felt, gentle souls here to uplift and add more light to a planet in need of empathy, awakening, love,  justice and kindness. On your journey you may have also fought the unbeatable foe, beared the unbearable sorrow, and run where the brave dare not go.

“This is your quest, to follow that star, no matter how hopeless, no matter how far, to fight for the right, without question or pause, to be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause. To know, in this glorious quest, that your heart will lay peaceful when it’s laid to rest…and the world will be better for this.”

Thank you to every caregiver, empath, healer, lover, angel, person of integrity and kindness out there adding light to dark corners of earth, breathing joy into those who have none, and striving forward with every ounce of courage to live the dream of making this world as beautiful as the soul you carry in your heart.

With deep gratitude
